Hi art lovers!! My name is Kristen Lee Harrell. I officially started my art journey in 2012. I was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts until I moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 19 years old. I rediscovered my appetite for creating after my daughter was 5 years old.
Art is the talent God placed in my hands, but my greatest calling is leading my family, as a mother of three girls and the wife of an AMAZINGLY supportive man. My journey is about nurturing a God centered life, where my children and husband are encouraged to dream, explore their talents, and live out their purpose. My art is my personal and special way of sharing that faith and inspiration hoping it encourages others to follow the dreams God placed in their hearts too.

I've loved art since I was a kid. I always had this creative spark that piloted me to draw and create something beautiful. My Dad (RIP) encouraged me at the beginning of my journey to draw everyday objects around the house; Food logo's, tables, chairs, cartoon characters, ANYTHING! He taught me to capture whatever I was looking at through my artistic eye. After honing my skills in a Vocational High School, I learned various mediums and techniques, like (my personal favorite) stippling. I returned to art later in life after raising my daughter as a single mother. I moved to Atlanta in 2012 and rediscovered myself and my passion for creating art. From those early days of sketching logos to painting portraits, I've learned that although art is sometimes principally taught, I am legitimized to spread my artistic talents through experience, energy and emotion. Self-taught, inspired, and driven by passion, I now create with the belief that art should bring joy and be accessible to all. I feel my art is a gift meant to be shared, and my path - Like Art - is all about growth, faith, and inviting others to embrace their own creativity. I'd love to help fill your space with art that speaks to you. My motto? "Let's create something beautiful together"
- K.Lee

My inspiration comes from artists who bare their souls through their work. Banksy's raw, street-level authenticity speaks to me; It's art that hits straight to the soul through his own vision and artistic take on everyday life. Van Gough's emotional depth, which I've studied later on in life, has always moved me to a place of self discovery and awareness. And Basquiat - His unmistakable style and voice is the kind of art I aspire to. Like these talented artists, I want my art to be unmistakably mine; Telling my personal story, and inviting others to see their own. Letting my personal journey shine through as my nourishment to personal growth and success is my life's inspiration!
